Models of Marti & Co.

As 2012 has ended, we at Marti & Co. would like to thank our Models. Three of our gorgeous models are from the same family. Lacretia, Tallulah and Waverly. They are the daughter and granddaughters of my best friend, Marva. And Marva, modeled one of our latest fascinators when she came to help with the Holiday Open House. They are some of the most stylish ladies and girls I know. I think glam and elegance are the middle names for all of the models at Marti & Co. Tallualh was my first model and a delight to work with. I was able to get my first photo jitterbugs worked out with our photo shoots. Then, we had so much fun, her Mom and baby sister joined in the photo shoots. My next model was my sister Mary, who was home from Colorado visiting. She modeled a fascinator. There’s one last model that I need to thank: my daughter Kelli. She has been a gorgeous model and a wonderful volunteer assistant for my business. I’m so unexplainably grateful to all of them for modeling my designs. Marti and Co.'s Brand New Studio Space!

Marti and Co. has a brand new studio space, thanks to my two children and husband! They decided to re-vamp the upstairs space into a studio, and it turned out fabulous!  My daughter and I spent hours on Pinterest searching for inspriation and storage ideas. We decided to utilize a striped wall of bright colors as our focal wall, and then went with calmer colors for the sewing room. Many of the items in both rooms were things I already laying around, but we did snag a couple pieces at IKEA. So far, the space has been doing wonders for my creative process, and has allowed to have space in the house dedicated solely to Marti & Co. What a wonderful growing experience for Marit & Co.!

We also hosted a small Wine and Cheese Afternoon to celebrate the new studio and sewing space! It was a blast, and we had some great support from the local community.  A big thank you to everyone who came!
