It's Bridal Show Time .....

Our first show of the year happened one week ago at the Center for Faith and Life, Luther College, Decorah, Iowa. It was so much fun to see the vendor table set-up. My daughter Kelli and I worked on the table display over the holidays. My friend, Sonja, helped setting up and greeting the shoppers. She makes these beautiful cards that are elegant and perfect for asking your family and friends to be in your wedding. I loved hearing the Brides plans for their weddings. They know what they want and what they don't want and are on a mission to find it. We had lots of fun showing our line of Bridal and wedding party accessories. My friends, Edith and Jeff who are newly engaged by the way, stopped by and stayed to help me pack up. Yay, for Edith and Jeff! 

Next shows are Feb.1, from 10-1:00,  in New Hampton, Iowa

Girl's Night Out, Feb. 22, from noon -4:00.

Back from Vacation!

I'm back from Boston. My daughter, Kelli is all moved in and started classes at Boston University School of Public Health this week. We were able to work in a shopping trip to the Frye Boot Store on Newbury Street and I had time to visit to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Both great places to visit. The collections at the Museum are varied. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful laces that Mrs. Gardner collected from all over the world.

Now it's time to let you know what's been going on at our Shop and also, on our Etsy Shop. First the Etsy Shop is having a FREE SHIPPING sale on all garters/garter sets from Sept. 4 -30. Several new styles of garters with glitzy embellishments are included in the sale. A new gift section in my Etsy Shop will be added later this month and will feature Retro aprons. Great gifts for Bridal Showers, Christmas and Birthdays. These aprons will also be available at my Cresco, Iowa Shop. Plans are underway for an Holiday Open House on Nov. 30, which is also Small Business Saturday. Look for Holiday Sparkle and Surprises all over the Shop. Come on over and join the fun!
